Includes lists of names of the "first Americans to settle in the Oregon Country" compiled from the Philip Foster Historical Papers and from the Foster-Pettygrove Store Books. Also is a list of persons from the "Covered Wagons coming into Oregon over the "Barlow Road" to Foster's Place. It was in an 1845 Counting House Almanac kept by the toll keeper, and shows date of month, owner, number of wagons, amount due, and how paid."
