From the preface: "In 1988 I started writing cowboy poetry and in 1989 was a featured poet at the Elko Nevada, Cowboy Poetry Gathering. There a scout for the Tonight Show, starring Johnny Carson invited me to perform - which I did, reciting 'It's a Matter of Taste'.Some of the poems in this book are of a personal nature and perhaps do not belong in a public offering. However, my first purpose in writing is to leave an historical track of sorts to show how things were. Personal thoughts add a certain flavor to that history." Condition: Book is in good condition, the pages are crisp and clean. Binding is tight. Cover has rubbing wear, creases, and wear to the edges and corners.
